{"id":3103,"date":"2019-01-05T20:21:14","date_gmt":"2019-01-05T20:21:14","guid":{"rendered":"http:\/\/www.flying-rv7.com\/?page_id=3103"},"modified":"2022-04-29T19:12:16","modified_gmt":"2022-04-29T19:12:16","slug":"du-piper-l4-h","status":"publish","type":"page","link":"http:\/\/www.flying-rv7.com\/?page_id=3103","title":{"rendered":"Presentation du Piper L4-H"},"content":{"rendered":"\n<p>En Janvier 2019, j\u2019ai eu la chance d\u2019acqu\u00e9rir un avion mythique: un Piper J3 (L-4H), le F-BBIK.<\/p>\n\n\n\n<p>Le Piper L4 est une version militaire du Piper Cub, le \u00abL\u00bb signifiant liaison. Ils \u00e9taient utilis\u00e9s pour le d\u00e9pistage, la distribution du courrier et le d\u00e9placement du personnel deri\u00e8re les lignes ennemies.<\/p>\n\n\n\n<p>Dans sa configuration d\u2019origine, le pilote \u00e9tait assis sur le si\u00e8ge avant et l\u2019observateur \u00e9tait assis sur une \u00e9lingue, faisant face vers l\u2019arri\u00e8re et regardant par la fen\u00eatre allong\u00e9e du L4.<\/p>\n\n\n\n<center><img src=\"http:\/\/www.flying-rv7.com\/wp-content\/uploads\/2020\/05\/Piper-L4-H-e1589127862617.jpg\" alt=\"\"><br><img src=\"http:\/\/www.flying-rv7.com\/wp-content\/uploads\/2019\/01\/DSC01167-e1589128040203.jpg\" alt=\"\"><br><img src=\"http:\/\/www.flying-rv7.com\/wp-content\/uploads\/2019\/03\/IMG_1632-e1589128107608.jpg\" alt=\"\"><\/center>\n\n\n\n<p><\/p>\n\n\n\n<p>Apr\u00e8s plusieurs mois de recherche, j&#8217;ai pu retracer son historique militaire en 2020.<\/p>\n\n\n\n<p>Cet avion est sorti de l&#8217;usine PIPER de Lock Haven (Pennsylvanie) le 2 d\u00e9cembre 1943 et r\u00e9ceptionn\u00e9 par l&#8217;Arm\u00e9e de l&#8217;Air US le 31\/12\/1943.<\/p>\n\n\n\n<p>Il est ensuite embarqu\u00e9 sur bateau direction le Maroc le 2 F\u00e9vrier 1944 pour \u00eatre livr\u00e9 au 12i\u00e8me R\u00e9giment de Tirailleurs de l&#8217;Arm\u00e9e Marocaine puis le 2 Mars 1944 \u00e0 l&#8217;Arm\u00e9e de Terre fran\u00e7aise dans le cadre du r\u00e9armement de la France par les US en Afrique du Nord.<\/p>\n\n\n\n<p>Il fut ensuite affect\u00e9 au 65i\u00e8me R\u00e9giment d&#8217;Artillerie d&#8217;Afrique, 30i\u00e8me Section d&#8217;Observation d&#8217;Artillerie A\u00e9rienne (SOAA). Rattach\u00e9 donc au Groupement d&#8217;Artillerie n\u00b03 de la 1i\u00e8re A\u00e9ro Flottille. Cr\u00e9\u00e9 le 17 janvier 1944, le peloton comprend les 17e, 30e, 37e et 52e SOAA.<\/p>\n\n\n\n<figure class=\"wp-block-image size-large\"><center><img src=\"http:\/\/www.flying-rv7.com\/wp-content\/uploads\/2020\/11\/Insigne-65ieme-RAA.jpg\" alt=\"Insigne du 65i\u00e8me RAA\"><\/center><\/figure>\n\n\n\n<p>Cet insigne \u00e9tait port\u00e9 par les personnels des 17e, 30e, 37e, et 52e SOAA.<\/p>\n\n\n\n<p>Il participa au d\u00e9barquement de Provence en Ao\u00fbt 1944 en lib\u00e9rant St Tropez entre les 16 et 25 ao\u00fbt 1944, participe \u00e0 la lib\u00e9ration de Toulon et Marseille et remonte le Rh\u00f4ne en direction des Vosges.<\/p>\n\n\n\n<p>Le 24 ao\u00fbt 1945, les 4 sections du 65i\u00e8me RAA sont stationn\u00e9es en Allemagne \u00e0 Stuttgart.<\/p>\n\n\n\n<p>Du 1ier Novembre 1945 au 1ier decembre 1945, elles &nbsp;stationnent \u00e0 Balingen (Wurtemberg).
